In the name of God Amen.This One and Thirtieth day of August in the year of Our Lord Christ, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fourteen.
I Elizabeth Roberts of the parish of Abererch, County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow being in sickly constitution of body and considering the uncertainty of this life and all men must dye and being willing that there should be no differences between my children, Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First I commend my soul to the mercy and … of Almighty God any Creator hopeing through the meritts and by the mediation of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to peace everlasting bliss and allow my body I commit it to the earth to be decently buried by care and discretion of my Executors herein after named and allow what worldly … God hath been pleased to bestow upon me. I give bequeath and dispose of the same as followeth Imprintis.
I give and bequeath to my son Robert the sum of fifteen pounds sterling.
Item. I give and bequeath to my son William the sum of fifteen pounds sterling.
Item. I give and bequeath to my son Howell the like sum of fifteen pounds sterling and the same to them in full. … of their filial share or person of their lone father's son all estate and for all the … and … of any said worldly estate I give and bequeath the same (equally to be divided) to my sons and daughters John, Robert, William, Howell, Anne and Mary, and do hereby constitute appoint and name the said John, Robert, William, Howell, Anne and Mary Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament and all other former wills and testaments by me heretofore made is hereby declared null and void, and this only to be taken deemed and affirmed for my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Roberts have hereunto set my hnd and seale the day and year above written viz 31st day of August Anno Dom 1714.
Memorandum. I the said Elizabeth Roberts do give and bequeath to my said daughter Mary the sum of Five Pounds and this before the execution of this my Will.
A true and proper Inventory of all the goods catle chattels and credits of Elizabeth Roberts late of the parish of Abererch in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor were made taken and appraised the herewith 23rd day of September Anno Dom 1714 by the persons undernamed as follows :
