John Thomas, Glanygors, Aberdaron : Will 1856.
In the name of God Amen.I, John Thomas of Glanygors in the Parish of Aberdaron and County of Carnarvon, being of sound and disposing mind thank be the Almighty God for the same do hereby make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the sum of fifteen pounds.
Also I do give and bequeath to my daughter Gaenor the sum of ten pounds.
And I do hereby nominated and appointed her my daughter Catherine be my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
In witness thereof I the said John Thomas have set my hand and seal dated this fourteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty five.

On the thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord 1856 the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix, Catherine Jones, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credit of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
Before me Thomas Jones Surrogate.
The deceased died on the 15th day of June 1855.
In the Consistory Court of Bangor.
In the matter of proving the last Will and Testament of John Thomas deceased. Appeared personally William Jones of Tynyffordd in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, Labourer and made oath that he is one of the subscribed Witnesses to the last Will and Testament of John Thomas late of Glanygors in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer deceased hereto annexed.
And he further made oath that on the fourteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty five the said Testator duly executed his said Will by affixing his mark at the foot or end thereof in the presence of him the Deponent and of Harry Parry of Penycaera in the Parish of Aberdaron in the said County of Carnarvon the other subscribed witness thereto both of whom were there present at the same time and that therefrom he the Deponent and the said Harry Parry in the presence of the said Testator and also of each other respectively subscribed their names to the said Will as witnesses attesting the due execution thereof.
The twenty first day of May one thousand eight hundred and fifty six, the said William Jones was duly sworn to the truth of the Affidavit.
