William Daniel, Aberdaron, Shoemaker : Will 1854.

In the name of God Amen.

I William Daniel of the village of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, shoemaker, being weak in body, but of sound mind memory and understanding, do this ninth day of November in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty three (1853) make, publish and declare, this my last Will and Testament in manner following (viz).

First I give and bequeath unto my son Evan Williams the sum of one shilling.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Daniel Williams the house and garden called and known by the name of Tynrardd and the shoemaker shop and all the tools belonging to my work.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Williams the house where I now live with the garden and the whole of the ground which is in my possesion, also the clock, the large corner cupboard and the large bible called Peter Williams's bible.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lowry Williams the dresser and chester drawer. My Will is also that my daughter Lowry may have a claim to have her home with my son Thomas - aforesaid while she live unmarried.

As to the residue of my personal estate and effects of whatever nature kind or quality the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease. I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my two children Thomas and Lowry Williams above named each to have share and share alike. Whom I lastly nominate constitute and appoint to be the Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator William Daniel as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the sixth day of September in the year of our Lord 1854 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Thomas Williams, one of the Executors within named, he being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to one hundred pounds (£100). Power being reserved to Lowry Williams the other Executor named herein to take upon her the exceution thereof whenever whenever she shall lawfully demand the sum.

The deceased died on or about the fifth day of December in the year 1853.
