Owen Lewis, Bwlch ucha, Aberdaron, Weaver : Will 1854.
I Owen Lewis of Bwlch uchaf in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, Weaver being of sound mind memory and understanding doth make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following. Viz.I give devise and bequeath all my house lands premises and every appurtenances thereto belonging wherein I now live unto my beloved wife Mary Lewis during the term of her life. And if there be something after her decease I give and bequeath between my four children. Lewis Owen, William Owen, Eleanor Owen and Elizabeth Owen, share and share alike.
Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Mary Lewis Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void every Will or Wills heretofore by me made and declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the tenth day of January eighteen hundred and fifty three.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Owen Lewis (the word one being first interlined) as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord 1854 the above Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above named Executrix, Mary Lewis, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £20.

The deceased died on the 10th day of June 1853.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the personal estate and effects of Owen Lewis late of Bwlch ucha in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 12th day of December 1853.

Appeared personally Mary Lewis of Bwlch ucha in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Sole Executrix named in the last Will and Testament of Owen Lewis late of Bwlch ucha aforesaid deceased and made Oath that the Deceased died on or about the tenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and fifty three. Sworn the eleventh day of January one thousand eight hundred and fifty four. Before me Thomas Jones Surrogate.
