Hugh Roberts, Bogelis, Aberdaron, Farmer : Will 1850.
In the name of God Amen.I Hugh Roberts of Bogelis in the Parish of Aberdaron and in the County of Carnarvon, being sick in body but of perfect mind, memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. That is to say.
First I do give and bequeath to my son Robert the sum of five pounds.
Second I do give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth the alike sum of five pounds to be paid by my Executrix.
Also I do give and bequeath to my dear wife Elizabeth whom I nominate and appoint the Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and my will is that she my said wife shall give and divide between all my children above named Rowland, Griffith, Elizabeth and Mary and Robert what she my said wife shall think proper according to ability. But in case my wife Elizabeth shall marry again my will is that all my property which she shall possess shall be divided between my above named children each to have an equal share say Robert Rowland Griffith Elizabeth and Mary all five.
And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testament wills legacies bequests and Executors by me in anyway before named willed and bequeathed testifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16th day of January in the year 1850.
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Hugh Roberts as his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names.

On the twenty eighth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty the above will was insinuated proved and approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and administration granted to the above named Executrix Elizabeth Roberts, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
