Ruth Richards, Bryn mawr, Aberdaron, Widow : Will 1850.
In the Name of God Amen.I Ruth Richards of Brynmawr in the Parish of Aberdaron, in the County of Carnarvon, Widow, being weak in body, but of sound mind memory and understanding do this twenty fifth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight (1848) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following viz.
First, I give and bequeath unto my son Rees the sum of five shillings of lawful money of England.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son Griffith the sum of ten pounds of lawful money of England, both to be paid by my Executors hereinafter named.
As to the residue of my personal estate and effects of whatever nature kind or quality the same may be or consist of at the time of my decease, I bequeath and give the same and every part thereof unto my three children, each to have share alike (viz), Richard, Mary and Elinor, whom I lastly nominate constitute and apooint to be the Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament declaring this and this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix Ruth Richards as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 24 day of September in the year of our Lord 1850 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid, and Administration granted to the within named Executors, Richard Griffith, Mary Griffith and Ellin Griffith, they being first sworn by common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £20.

The deceased died the seventh day of November 1849.
A true and perfect Inventory of the Goods Chattels and Effects of the personal estate of Ruth Richards late of Brynmawr of the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, widow, deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed the 15th day of August in the year of our Lord 1850.
