Griffith Wyn Jones, Tyn y cae, Aberdaron, Gent : Will 1841.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Griffith Wynne Jones of Tyn y cae in the parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, Gentleman.

I give and devise all that my messuage Tenement farm and lands Herediments and premises with the appurtenances called Trefaes situate in the parish of Meillteyrn in the said County of Carnarvon now in the occupation of William Thomas, Farmer, his under tenants or assigns and also all that mu quillet piece or parcel of land or ground situate in the parish of Bottwnog in the said parish of Carnarvon now in the occupation of William Thomas his under tenants or assigns and also all that my undivided moiety half part or share the whole into two equal parts or shares to be divided of and in all that messuage tenement farm and lands Herediments and premises with appurtanences called Coed ty mawr situate in the parish of Llandecwyn in the County of Merioneth, now in the occupation of John Jones, farmer, his under tenants or assigns.

And all other my real estate situate in the said several parishes Meillteyrn, Bottwnog and Llandecwyn or elsewhere in England and Wales to my wife Mary and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the same and every part and parcel thereof to my nephew John Ellis Lloyd eldest son of my sister Jane Lloyd and to his Heirs and assigns for ever.

I give and bequeath my household goods and furniture, farming stock and all other my personal estate and effects to my said wife Mary during her natural life and after her decease I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof to my niece Catherine Owen, daughter of my half sister Margaret Owen absolutely for ever.

I hereby expressly exempt my said personal estate from all the debts which I may owe at my decease and the same shall not be applied in payment of same nor in the payment of my funeral and testamentary expenses and I hereby charge and make liable my real estate with and to the payment of my said debts funeral and testamentary expenses.

I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Mary sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Griffith Wynne Jones the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifth day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty one.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Griffith Wynne Jones the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other herewith subscribe our names as witnesses

On the thirteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one, the within written Will was insinuated, proved approved and in common form of law declared valid and Administration granted to the within named Mary Jones, Widow, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the goods credit and effects of the late G Wynne Jones of Tynycae in the parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer deceased made and appraised by us 29th day of June 1841.
