Griffith Jones, Tyn y cae, Aberdaron, Farmer : Will 1837.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith Jones of Tyn y Cae, Parish of Aberdaron, County of Carnarvon being weak in body but of sound mind, memory and understanding doth make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First I do give and bequeath to my son Robert the sum of Twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid at the or after the demise of his Mother.

Second I do give and bequeath to my son Owen the sum of 2/6.

Thirdly I do give and bequeath to my son John the sum of 2/6.

Fourth I do give and bequeath to my son Humphrey the sum of 2/6.

Fifth I do give and bequeath to my son Griffith the sum of 2/6.

Sixth I do give and bequeath to my son William the sum of 2/6.

Seventh I do give and bequeath to my son Richard the sum of 2/6.

Eighth I do give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret the sum of 2/6.

Lastly I constitute nominate and appoint my loving wife Gwladis Jones to be my sole Executrix of all my good paper and papers that is now in my possession, all my household furniture and all my stock at Tynycae in and out and also the lease of the said Tynycae and every thing that I now had in my possession. She is to be my sole Executrix and residue legatee of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made.

In witness whereof I the within named Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this Tenth day of February 1829.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator for and as the last Will and Testament who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the day and year above written.

On the first day of June in the year of our Lord 1837, the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Gwladis Jones, Sole Executrix, she being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the goods credit and effects of the late Griffith Jones of Tynycae in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and diocese of Bangor, Farmer deceased, made and appraized by us this twenty third day of May 1837.
