Griffith Edmund, Ty fwg, Aberdaron, Farmer : Will 1828.
In the name of God Amen. I Griffith Edmund of Ty fwg in the parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, Farmer do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz Imprimis.I give devise and bequeath unto my son Thomas all that my messuage lands and tenement called Tynymynydd now in my tenure or occupation but he the said Thomas my son must pay the sum of fifty five pounds to my children as follows that is the cost I have to build on the said Tynymynydd.
First I do give and bequeath to my son Hugh the sum of Twenty pounds.
Second I do give and bequeath to my son Griffith the sum of Ten pounds.
Thirdly I do give and bequeath to my daughter Mary the sum of Fifteen pounds.
Fourth I give and bequeath to my daughter Elinor the sum of Ten pounds.
The above sum is to be paid by my son Thomas above written or mention.
Item. I give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of all my stock cattle and chattels all my ready money notes bonds and every other securities that is all my stock at Ty fwg and Tynymynydd between my loving wife Jane and the children their names as follows, John, Richard, Elis, James, Jane and William. I constitute and appoint the said Jane my wife and John and Richard and Elis and James and Jane and William my Executors and residuary Legatee hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
In witness whereof I set my hand and seal this sixth day of April one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven – the mark and seal of Griffith Edmund.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Griffith Edmund as his last Will and Testament in our presence who at his request and his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 18th day of November in the year of our Lord 1828, the within written Will was insinuated, proved, approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Jane edmunds, the widow, and one of the Executors, all the other Executors being Minors, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased, do not amount in value to £100.

A true and perfect Inventory of all the goods credits and effects of the late Griffith Edmunds, Tyfwg of the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Farmer, deceased, made and appraized by us / gratis / this 10th day of November in the year of our Lord 1828.
