William Lewis, Gwthrian, Aberdaron : Will 1824.
In the name of God. Amen.I William Lewis of Gwthrian in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Viz.
First I do give and bequeath to my daughter Jane the sum of one shilling.
Secondly I do give and bequeath to my daughter Dorothy the sum of ten pounds.
Thirdly I do give and bequeath to my son John the sum of ten pounds.
Fourthly I do give and bequeath to my daughter Catharine the sum of ten pounds.
Fifth I do give and bequeath to my son Lewis the sum of ten pounds.
Lastly I constitute nominate and appoint my loving wife Sidney Jones to be my Sole Executrix and residuary Legatee of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made in witness whereof I the within named Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of December one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator for and as his last Will and Testament who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the day and year within written.

On the twenty first day of January in the year of our Lord 1824 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the above or within named Executrix, Sydna Lewis, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.
Before me William Williams Surrogate.
Probate granted 29th April 1824.
A true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods Chattels and Cattle as well as moveable and unmoveable of the late William Lewis Gwthrian who died the 7th day of January 1824.
