Dorothy Pierce, Ty Corn, Aberdaron, : Will 1814.
I Dorothy Pierce of Ty Corn in the Parish of Aberdaron, County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor being weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament (on my share of the stock at Ty Corn which is one half I did sold the other share to my son in law Humphrey Jones and Catherine Roberts my daughter since near this two years ago) In manner and form as following. Viz.I Do give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Evans the sum of Ten shillings and six pence.
I Do give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Evans the sum of Ten shillings and six pence.
Also I do give and bequeath to my son William Roberts the sum of Seven pounds and ten shillings with the great table.
Also I do give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Roberts the sum of Seven pounds and ten shillings.
Also I do give and bequeath to my daughter in law Ellin Roberts the Great Spin Wool. As to the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever after payment of my debts legacies and funeral expenses I give and bequeath the same unto my daughter Catherine and my son in law Humphrey Jones her husband.
Lastly I do hereby constitute ordain and appoint my said son to be my Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I the said Dorothy Pierce have hereunto set my hand and seal the 25th day of February in the year of our Lord 1813.
Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Dorothy Pierce as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

On the twenty first day of March in the year 1814 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Humphrey Jones Executor. He being first sworn in common form of Law, and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £20.

This is an Inventory made upon the Goods Cattle and Chattels of the late Dorothy Pierce of Ty Corn in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, lately deceased valued and appraised the 18th day of March in the year 1814.
