Robert Hughes, Ty Corn, Aberdaron : Will 1804.

In the name of God Amen.

I Robert Hughes of Ty Corn in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, being weak in body, but of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First I do give and bequeath to my daughter Ellin Robert the bed and clothes in which she use to sleep and the old chest which is between the two beds and six Phiolets of Barley if she will depart and one shilling.

To Evan the son of my daughter Ellin I do give and bequeath a shilling.

To John her son I do give and bequeath one female lamb.

I do give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Robert the clothes cupboard.

I do give and bequeath to my son in law Richard Williams the sum of ten shillings and six pence which was a debt on him to me.

To his son Robert Richard I do give and bequeath one female lamb.

I do give and bequeath to my daughter Lowry Robert three phiolets of Barley and a shilling.

I do give and bequeath to my daughter Catherine Robert the Bible and one shilling.

I do give and bequeath to my son Hugh Robert one shilling.

I do give and bequeath to my son William Robert one shilling.

I do give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Robert the sum of one shilling.

Lastly I constitute nominate and appoint my loving wife Dorty Pierce to be my Sole Executor and Residuary Legatee of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I the within named Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this 18th day of February 1803.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator for and as the last Will and Testament who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the day and year above written.

On the 31st day of May in the year of our Lord 1804 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within Executrix Dorothy Pierce, she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased do not amount in value to £100.

A true and perfect Inventory made upon all Goods Cattle and Chattels of Robert Hughes of Ty Corn in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and in the Diocese of Bangor, lately deceased, values and appraised on the 16th day of January in the year 1804 by the under written persons.
