John Thomas, Ystohelig, Aberdaron : Will 1754.

In the name of God Amen.

The 7th day of February 1753.

I, John Thomas of Ystohelig in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, being sick in body, but of good and perfect memory, thanks be to Almighty God do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

I give and bequeath unto my eldest son Thomas Jones all my real estate having reserved a power of charging my estate after my decease, in thirty pounds in a deed bearing date the eleventh of February 1729.

I dispose of the same in the following manner.

I give and bequeath to my second son Ellis Jones the sum of eight pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my third son Hugh Jones the sum of eight pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my fourth son Griffith Jones the sum of eight pounds.

I give and bequeath unto my fifth son John Jones the sum of eight pounds.

I give unto my daughter Lowry Jones the sum of eight pounds.

In order to make up the aforesaid sum of forty pounds, I give the sum of ten pounds out of my personal estate. I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Jonett Ellis all the rest of my personal estate of what kind soever.

I do hereby make and appoint my said dear wife Sole Executrix this my last Will and Testament. An Inventory of the Goods Cattle and Chattels of John Thomas of Ystohelig in the Parish of Aberdaron lately deceased, that was made the twenty fifth day of January 1753.
