Francis Griffith, Carreg, Aberdaron : Will 1758.
In the Name of God Amen.I Francis Griffith of Carreg in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor being of sound memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as followeth.
First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret the sum of thirty shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of thirty shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary, over and above what I promised to give her as a marriage berthen the sum of thirty shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine the sum of two and thirty pounds.
All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods and Chattels Rights and Credits and Personal Estate whatsoever / all my debts and funeral charges being first paid and discharged I give leave and bequeath to and between my beloved wife Grace Griffith and my son Griffith, share and share alike and do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Grace and son Griffith Co Executors of this my last Will and Testament. As witness my mark and seal this tenth day of June 1758.
Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us, and subscribed in his presence by us.

On the third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and decreed valid and Administration of the Goods and Chattels of the within named Testator, Francis Griffith deceased granted to the within named Executors, they being first personally sworn as the Law directs, everyone's rights being saved and reserved.
