Ellin Jones, Ty Fru, Aberdaron, Widow : Will 1794.

In the name of God Amen.

I Ellin Jones, Widow of Ty Fru in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.

First I do give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Jones the sum of one shilling and likewise a cuppord and four pewter dishes, the cuppord being known by the name cwpwrdd tri darn.

Also I do give and bequeath to my grandson John Thomas the sum of one shilling.

Lastly I constitute nominate and appoint my son Richard Griffith my Sole Executor and residuary legatee of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Will or Wills hereunto by me made. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of November 1783.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above Testatrix for and as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence in the presence of each other and at her request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the day and year first above written.

Probate dated 20th January 1794.

On the 15th day of January in the year of our Lord 1794 the above or within written Will was insinuated proved and approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration to the within named Executor Richard Griffith of the Parish of Aberdaron, he being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists and alledged that the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the Testatrix deceased, doth not amount in value to the sum of six pounds as the Law directs.
Before me Richard Owen Surrogate.

On the 20th day of January 1794 probate of this Will was granted to Richard Griffith the son of the said deceased and Sole Executor named in the said Will he having been first sworn duly to administer.

An Inventory of all the Goods and Chattels of Ellin Jones of Ty Fru in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, Widow deceased made this 14th day of January 1794.
