Evan Williams, Pwll y Ciw, Aberdaron, Farmer : Will 1793.

In the name of God Amen.

I Evan Williams of Pwllyciw in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. That is to say.

In the first place I give and bequeath unto my Grandson William son of William Evan of Gagynoe in the said Parish of Aberdaron Farmer my Teal Dress Cupboard.

Also I give and bequeath unto my said son William my old oval dresser and two pewter dishes.

Also I give and bequeath unto my son John Evan of Tylewis the sum of five shillings.

Also to my daughter Mary wife of Thomas Jones of Tynlon bach in the said Parish of Aberdaron the like sum of five shillings of good and lawful money of Great Britain.

Moreover I give and bequeath unto my present wife Ellin all the crop of corn hay pulse and every other sort of vegetable that may or shall grow in the present year on my farm called Pwllyciw together with all my stock cattle and chattels, all my ready cash notes bonds and every security for money whatsoever.

And I also constitute nominate and appoint my aforesaid wife Ellin Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and make void all Wills and Testament by me at any time hither to made and do publish and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament. In witness thereof I have set my hand and seal hereunder this Twenty eighth day of January in the year of our Lord 1793.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator as his last Will and Testament in our presence who at his request and in presence have subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord 1793 the within written will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Ellin the within named Executrix, she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the Law directs by me.

On the 16th November 1793 probate of this Will was granted to Ellin the Widow and Relict of the said deceased and Sole Executrix named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to administer.
