John Prichard Tir Mawr, Aberdaron : Will 1791.
I John Prichard of Tir Mawr in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon, being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and ordain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Viz.First I give and bequeath to my grandaughter Mary William of Corn Blewyn in the Parish of Llanengan one she lamb.
I also do give leave and bequeath unto my loving wife Mary Arthur all my goods and chattels and effects whatsoever whom I likewise constitute nominate and appoint my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, that is to say if she continues a widow, but if she shall happen to marry another husband after my decease then and in such case my will is that all my effects above mentioned shall be equally divided between my wife Mary Arthur aforesaid and my two youngest children Thomas and Margaret Jones and that they shall be Co-Executors and residuary legatees of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other former Will or Wills by me heretofore made.
In witness whereof I do hereby set my hand and seal this 29th day of March 1791. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the day and year first above written.

On the 9th day of June in the year of our Lord 1791 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law declared valid, and Administration granted to Mary Arthur within named Executrix, she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelist as the Law directs.

On the 22nd day of June 1791 probate of this Will was granted to Mary Arthur the Widow and Relict of the deceased and the Sole Executrix named in the said Will during her widowhood having been first sworn duly to administer.
