Owen Humphreys, Deuglawdd, Aberdaron, Farmer : Will 1788.
In the name of God Amen.I Owen Humphreys of Dauglawdd, Farmer in the Parish of Aberdaron, in the County of Carnarvon, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say. Imprimis.
I give and bequeath unto my grandaughter Catharine, daughter of John Prichard of Anglesey, Farmer the sum of ten pounds of lawful money.
I give and bequeath unto the said John Prichard the sum of five shillings.
I give and bequeath unto my son Humphrey Humphreys of Ty'n y Cae the sum of one pound of lawful money of Great Britain.
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ellin and unto my son Griffith Humphreys all the rest residue and remainder of all my stock cattle and chattels, all my ready money, notes, bonds or other securities for money together with all my estates real and personal whatsoever.
I nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Ellin and my said son Griffith Co Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other Wills by me at any time theretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight.
Signed sealed and delivered by the said Testator as his last Will and Testament, in our presence who in his presence and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the 15th day of October in the year 1788 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Ellin, Widow of the Testator and one of the Co Executors, she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the law directs
