Hugh Williams, Hedynfa, Aberdaron : Will 1783.
In the name of God Amen.The 7th day of October One thousand seven hundred and eighty two.
I Hugh Williams of Hedynfa in the Parish of Aberdaron and County of Carnarvon being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, Do make and ordain my Last Will ans Testament.
First I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Mary Hughes the sum of Two Shillings and Sixpence.
Also I give and Bequeath to my Grandaughter Margaret Williams the sum of Five Pounds.
Also I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Margaret Hughes my Dresser and the Plates thereon. Whom I likewise constitute make and ordain to be Co Executrix with my Son Richiard Hughes and my Beloved Wife Ellin Parry of this my last Will and Testament all and singular my Chattels and by them freely to be possessed and enjoyed.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Hugh Williams as his last Will and Testament in the presence of John Morris

On the 21st day of April in the year 1783 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administreation granted to Richard Hughes and Ellin Parry two of the within appointed Executors, the third being a Minor, they being first personally sworn on the Holy Evangelists as the Law directs by me J Jones Surrogate April 7th 1783
