Elizabeth John Prys, Ty'n Rhos, Aberdaron, Widow : Will 1782.
In the name of God Amen.I Elizabeth John Prys of Ty'n Rhos in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Widow do on the sixth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy eight make my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
First of all I commit my soul to God and my body to the Earth to be buried at the direction of my Executors herein after named and as touching and concerning my worldly Goods and dispose of the same as followeth.
First I give and bequeath to my brother Griffith John Prys the Interest of Twenty pounds yearly during his life, to be paid by my Executors share and share alike, that is to say the sum of four shillings each part.
Also I give and bequeath to my nephew Rhys Griffith the sum of one guinea.
As for the rest of my worldly goods of what particulars soever the same shall consist I do give and Bequeath the same between my two nieces Catherine and Jane Rowland, daughters of my nephew Rowland Prys one part and Ellin and Elizabeth daughters of my nephew Robert Prys for one part and one part to my nephew William Prys and one part to my niece Elizabeth Prys and the other part to my niece Ellin Prys to be equally divided in five parts share and share alike; constituting nominating and appointing them to be my Executors of this my last Will and Testament under the Trust of my nephew Rowland Prys; whom I order to see this my last Will to be truly performed, hereby revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made, and in witness that this is my last Will and Testament I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
Signed sealed and declared by the said Elizabeth John Prys as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto set our names as witnesses.

On the 19th day of April in the year of our Lord 1782 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Rowland Prys appointed Trustee to the said Will, he being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the Law directs.

A true and perfect Inventory made upon all the Goods Chattels of Elizabeth John Prys of Ty'n rhos in the parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, lately deceased valued and priced by the persons under named April 18th 1782.
