Magdalene Parry, Aberdaron : Will 1782.
In the name of God Amen.I Magdalene Parry of the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.
First I give and bequeath unto my sister Mary Parry's children the sum of Ten shillings to be equally divided amongst them.
Also I do give and bequeath unto my sister Jane Parry the sum of Ten shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto the poor of the Parish of Aberdaron for ever the interest of Thirty Pounds at the interest rate of five per cent to be paid yearly to the Overseers of the poor by my Executors herein after named.
I do give and bequeath unto the children of my tenant Owen Roberts, that is William, Robert, Catherine and Margaret, five pounds each of them.
Also I do give and bequeath unto my servant Margaret Thomas Ten Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto Ellin Rowland, wife of Richard Jones Harper the sum of Five Pounds.
I do give unto Robert Roberts son of Mary Rowland of the Parish of Keidio Five Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto the children of Charles Prichard Ten Pounds to be equally divided amongst them.
I do give and bequeath unto Griffith the son of Griffith Pirce of the Parish of Rhiw Three Pounds Three Shillings.
I do give and bequeath unto Griffith Prichard Pen y Penrhyn Three Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto the children of Rhys Griffith the sum of Four Pounds Four Shillings equally to be divided amongst them.
I do give and bequeath unto Mary John Griffith Rhos y bela One Shilling.
I do give and bequeath unto Ellin daughter of Robert Prichard Aberdaron the sum of Five Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto Margaret daughter of the said Robert Prichard the sum of Two Pounds Two Shillings.
I do give and bequeath unto Jane daughter of the said Robert Prichard Three Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto Jane Prichard sister of the said Robert Prichard the sum of Five Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto Robert Prichard of the Parish of Bryncroes Three Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto Hugh Prichard Nevin Ten Shillings and Six Pence.
I do give and bequeath unto Catherine Humphrey wife of Benjamin Thomas Two Pounds Two Shillings.
I do give and bequeath unto William son of Robert Prichard Aberdaron Two Pounds.
Also to his brother James the sum of Three Pounds. And to their sister Anne the sum of Three Pounds.
I do give and bequeath unto John Jones Parish Clerk of Aberdaron the sum of Three Pounds.
I give and bequeath unto the children of Anne Rowland, Ty Mawr Ten Pounds to be divided equally amongst them.
I give and bequeath unto Gwen Parry wife of Robert Humphrey the sum of One shilling.
And to her sister Ellin Parry the sum of One shilling.
And their sister Jana Parry's children I do give and bequeath the sum of Four pounds equally to be divided amongst them.
I do give and bequeath unto the children of Catherine eldest daughter of Robert Prichard Aberdaron by his first wife the sum of Five shillings each.
The cash that I willed and bequeathed is in the custody of John Robins of the Parish of Llanbeblig which sum of money being due on a bond from under his hand payable to me the said Bond is likewise in his custody the contents of the Bond is Two Hundred Pounds.
And I likewise constitute make and ordain the said John Robins and my tenant Owen Roberts Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament all and singular my goods and effects freely to be possessed and enjoyed by them both.
And I do hereby utterly disallow all and every other former Wills and Testaments by me in any way. Before named willed and bequeathed confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Magdalene Parry as her last Will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers.

On the 24th day of May in the year of our Lord 1782 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to John Robyns and Owen Roberts named and appointed Co-executors therein, they being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the Law directs, by me. J Jones Surrogate.
