Hugh Prichiard, Pwllmelyn, Aberdaron, Yeoman : Will 1780.
In the name of God Amen.I Hugh Prichiard of Pwllmelyn in the Parish of Aberdaron, in the County of Carnarvon and Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman being sick and weak in body but of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
First I give and bequeath to my son John Hughes one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath to my son Richiard Hughes one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Hughes one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Ellin Hughes one shilling.
Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Anne Hughes one shilling.
And I hereby nominate and appoint my loving wife Mary? Thomas Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty third day of September in the year of our Lord 1780.
Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator Hugh Prichiard for and of his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereunto in his presence and at his request. John James

On the 13th day of November in the year 1780 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to the within named Executrix, she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the law directs
