Griffith William, Blawd ty, Aberdaron, Yeoman : Will 1776.

In the name of God Amen.

I Griffith William, Blawd ty in the Parish of Aberdaron, in the County of Carnarvon, Diocese of Bangor, Yeoman being sick and weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding (praised be God) do make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say).

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Griffith the sum of five shillings and no more of Lawful British Money.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jonnet Griffith the sum of five pounds of Lawful British Money and no more, to be respectively paid them within twelve months next after my decease.

As to the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects of what kind or quality the same shall happen to be at the time of death I give and bequeath them all unto and between my loving and dear wife Elinor Jacob and my son Griffith Griffiths whom I nominate constitute and appoint Joint and Co Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and absolutely making void all former Wills by me at any time made heretofore do publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord 1775. Signed sealed published and declared by ye above named Testator Griffith William as and for his last Will and Testament in ye presence of us who in his presence and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. N.B. It is my will and desire if my dear wife Elinor Jacob shall happen to die before me my son Griffith ye be said Griffith should have all of which I leave between them.

On the 19th day of August 1776 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Griffith Griffiths one of the within appointed Executors, he being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists, as the Law requires.
