John Evan, Tenant at Deuglawdd, Aberdaron : Will 1772.

 God's Will be done. Amen.

I John Evan Tenant at Deuglawdd in the Parish of Aberdaron in the County of Carnarvon in the Diocese of Bangor, (praised be God) being of sound and perfect mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as followeth :

First I command my dear soul to the mercy of my Gracious Redeemer, in hopes of a joyful Resurrection at the Day of Judgement and my body to be decently buried at the charge and discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named. As to what personal Estate it shall please God to bless with at the time of my decease, I give and dispose the same in the manner following.

First I give and bequeath unto my Nephews John, William Robert and Owen the sons of Humphrey Jones late of Hendy in this Parish the sum of five shillings each or apiece.

Also I give and bequeath unto Nephews and Nieces Griffith and Evan, Judith and Margaret, the children of John Griffith Francis late of Gwyddel in this Parish the sum of five shillings each or apiece.

Also, I give and bequeath unto my Niece Mary William the wife of Thomas Jones now of Mynachdy in the Parish of Bryncroes the sum of five shillings.

Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Margaret Mark now of Cilbwth the sum of five shillings.

All the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate whatever, I give and bequeath unto my dear and beloved wife Elin Rowland, Sol Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and disannuling whatever Will or Wills heretofore by me made, As witness my hand and seal this 27th day of November in the year 1762.

Signed sealed delivered and declared by the Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us

On the 21st day of March in the year of our Lord 1772 the within written Will was insinuated proved approved and in common form of Law decreed valid and Administration granted to Elin Rowland the within mentioned Executrix she being first personally sworn on the holy Evangelists as the Law directs by me J Jones Surrogate March 6th 1772.

A true and perfect Inventory maid upon Goods and Gadles of John Evan of the Parish of Aberdaron, County Carnarvon Tersd to Bangor priced by undernamed.
